Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan arrived at the Supreme Court on Friday to attend the hearing of a contempt of court notice issued to him by the top court.
Earlier, the apex court issued a notice to the PTI chief saying that Khan apparently had tried to incite hatred against the apex court in one of his interactions with the media.
A three-judge bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, was hearing the case against him.
Hamid Khan, the counsel for Imran, told the apex court that his client could not even think of committing contempt of court.
